The long awaited PROLOGUEEEE

In the old days, before life became polluted with the stress that comes with growing older and older, things were easy. Things were simple. And there was nothing to prove otherwise. And no matter what, things always went my way. Whatever my small, young beating heart desired was placed in front of me on a golden platter.
That's what happens when your mother owns her own fashion line, Viola Belle Moi which translated into simpler terms means Here Is Beautiful Me. Long? Yes. Does every shopping nerd in both North America and Europe know the name? Absolutely. But people normally just call it Viola. As for my father, he's in charge of the models that show off my mothers creations. Always working together as parents should. But for me, it meant they weren't home much, since they worked in the city. But we always had the weekends together, so it wasn't so bad. But to make up for lost time, as I said before, I got whatever I want.
They even granted my longing for an older sister. When I was six, my parents adopted an eight year girl named Dinah Paige Bailey. Well, she was now Dinah Leigh Emerson. They told me she had come from a bad family. In other words, they were generous souls who went to Children Services to adopt a child in need instead of a normal orphanage. But they told me something else too. She was completely blind. And that I would have to help take care of her so she didn't trip over herself every five steps down the hall.
But I didn't care. Not one bit.
With everyone always listening to my childish orders, it felt... nice. I wasn't a spoiled little brat like most of you are imagining me as in your heads. And to know that some other human being needed my help.. You couldn't imagine how much joy it brought me. I waited on that girl hand and foot. I personally made her meals.. Okay, I helped. At least until I could do it myself. I made her bed. I helped her shower. I straightened her light brown hair every morning and did her make up for special days. I never realized how wonderful a ''princess'' like myself could feel with simply taking care of someone other than myself. I never wanted that feeling to go away. I had turned into a mother before I had even become a teenager. I loved that girl who changed my life. I loved my parents. I loved the maids. I loved the butler. I loved my home. I loved my fairy tale land that we lived in. I was perfectly content and happy with what I had.
But then we moved.
It was right at the end of my sophomore year in high school. Dinah had graduated from her home schooling then. Our mother's job was keeping them away from their little girls. So she and our father moved us to the city. They thought the little little town of Crestwood was too bland anyway. And I hated every minute of it. It wasn't what I had in mind of a home-sweet-home. I missed being able to just lay in the flower meadows with my friends and Dinah and point to little bunny shaped clouds in the sky, even when we had grown up, with no outside noise but our voices and the wind. The closest thing to that in the city it to sit in a chair on top of a building and watch the clouds of pollution roll by. Listen to cars honking and people chatter about daily life. Oh, and let's not forget the lady across the street poking her head out the window and screaming at her husband, telling him to never come back. All the while throwing his stuff out the window, trying to hit him but instead hitting her neighbors car continuously. It was the worse thing I could have ever imagined. A nightmare. Pure madness. I wanted to rip my hair out everyday.
But when I turned eighteen, and I had finished high school, I decided to move back to Crestwood. Our parents wanted me to go to Paris with them where my mother was opening a "new and improved" Viola. I declined politely and stuck with my plan. Dinah even begged them to let her come with me. And our parents could never say no to such an innocent girl like her. But this time, I didn't want any servants waiting on us. I would be just be her and I, and our childhood friends.
Exactly the way it should be.
But things weren't the same in my happily ever after land. Things had changed. The air seemed heavier. The sky was darker even when it was bright and sunny. And the people that were left and the few newcomers were.. morbid. Words cannot explain what it was like. Physically, nothing had changed. But it had changed. And it didn't take long for Dinah and I, after only being back for a year, to know what had caused it. The dreams held here had all but been obliterated and were replaced with nightmares.
Horrors that have haunted humans for generations.

Sorry to all who've been waiting for the samplers chapters. I restarted writing it, but realizde that sucked. So I stopped for awhile until I got some new inspiration. Then when I did, I couldn't find my flashdrive. That thing has everything for the book on there! I really just want to smack myself in the head because of it.. ):
When I do find it. I'll be typing fast as I can to get it up on here. I'm going to strip apart my room this weekend until I find it.

spoiler quote!

" When I was a little girl of only six years old, I lived very happily. No worries. No fears. Just dreams and wishes and magical fairy tales. All my life I've wanted to live in my very own story. One that would inspire others to dream as I had. One with a happy ending. Well, that wish is starting to come alive.
Just one problem.
I don't think this story has a happily ever after.
